On December 21,
2016, Xindu fire brigade of Chengdu Fire Detachment announced thatA Fire Safety Evaluation Report of Xindu
District in Chengduwhich was written by Fire Protection Engineering
Department of SWJTU came out.
An officer of Xindu fire brigade said: “Comprehensive fire risk evaluation of city
district is an important basis for planning firefighting system setup,
optimizing firefighting resources allocation and improving firefighting
conduction scientifically and effectively. This report fills the blank of
firefighting system setup planning in our city.” In
September, 2016, according to the requirement of Fire Department of the
Ministry of Public Security, Xindu fire brigade invited some experts from Fire
Protection Engineering Department, SWJTU to form an evaluation group. After
three-month working on collecting and analyzing data, investigating actual
conditions and doing questionnaire, the evaluation group finally worked out
this report.
An officer of Xindu fire brigade said: “This
report is pretty close to the actual situations and its content is
comprehensive which includes safety situation analysis, firefighting work
state, public infrastructure conditions, resources allocation situations,
evaluation statistics and results, current problems and suggested methods.”
