On May 29, 2016,
a fire drill competition was held at the north stadium in SWJTU. This activity
was conducted by SWJTU League Committee and SWJTU Youth Volunteer Association
and supported by Security Department, Firefighting Rescue Brigade and FGEE
Youth Volunteer Association.
The main purpose of this drill was to
strengthen students’ firefighting common sense, ensure that they know what
should be done when an emergency occurs.
In the beginning, officers from fire
department showed the standard way to use fire extinguishers, put on
firefighting uniform, fold and unfold water bags. Then, organizer announced the
competition procedures. At 3 p.m. activity began, every 3 participators formed
a unite to compete with other groups through 3 sections.
At the end, among 28 groups, number 28,10,
26, 25, 16 and 18 groups performed very well and won prizes.
