On May 11, 2017,
Faculty of Geosciences and Environmental Engineering held a seminar of
enrollment advertising campaigns for SWJTU-OSU collaborative program at X4531.
Jianfeng Liu,
the deputy director of Enrollment and Career Placement Office, said“cooperating with a third-party company,
Enrollment and Career Placement Office will go to many high schools to
advertise this program in the forms of exhibition and tour. The statistics of
previous enrollment and quality has been doing, then the enrollment plan and
predicted enrollment of this year will come out. Students who are qualified to
participate joint programs will get their admissions through parallel
college-going preference and then be assigned to different majors. And the same
program codes should be used by SWJTU and collaborative universities”.
Qirong
Liu, party secretary, talked about the problem that promotional effect would
not be very good after the college examination. Jianfeng Liu gave his
suggestion, said that a lecture would be held after the college examination,
and all the examinees in Chengdu would be invited. In order to keep promising
students, Enrollment and Career Placement Office would apply several extra
spots to make the students who neither be within the guideline nor accept
arrangement still have chance to join our program.
Some potential problems might happen during
enrollment advertising were also discussed, such as application matters, major
arrangement and brochure content.
