March 21 morning, 2019, Randy Kluver, dean of the Global Institute of Research and Partnerships(OSU), Vivian Wang, manager of the China Development Department(OSU), and some honored guests from Oklahoma State University visited Xipu campus.Southwest Jiaotong University.Two sides held a seminar over fire&safety engineering Sino-foreign cooperative projects in Room 4531 of Xipu Campus of Southwest Jiaotong University. The meeting was hosted by Dr. Xu Junhua, Vice dean of the faculty of Geosciences and Environmental Engineering.

   At the beginning, Dean Lutz Plümer delivered a welcome speech. Afterwards, Vivian Wang, Professor Chen Junmin and Deputy Secretary Fu Yougang carried out the project work report sequentially. Deputy Director of the Academic Affairs Office Dai Ning, International Cooperation and communication Office Ren Jun, Deputy Secretary of the Faculty of Geosciences and Environmental Engineering Fu Yougang, Vice Dean Oyang Feng, and principle of Project Department Chen Minjun attended the meeting.

   Finally, in the light of "long-term cooperation,mutual benefit and common development" principle, sticking to the "student-oriented" concept, two sides have been scrupulously negotiate over the implementation plan, laboratory construction, curriculum planning, teacher resources, student transferring and association,etc,determining to execute some in-depth exchanges and commencements. We were all agreeing and hoping,Taking a longer-term goal to lead, harnessing greater wisdom to think, more valiant to create, and forging our ways to shut down obstacles, solving difficult problems, ensuring implementation of the project going without a hitch, and safeguard the interests of students effectively.All of us are firmly to be perceiving that in the future, two side will go further and further in the path of "joint, co-construction, sharing", fire and safety engineering Sino-Foreign Cooperative education projects will be carried out promisingly!
